AC FAQs
How long does an AC installation take?
Most central AC installations take 4–8 hours depending on the complexity of the job and any existing ductwork modifications needed.
What size AC do I need?
AC sizing depends on your home's square footage, ceiling height, insulation, and window exposure. An undersized or oversized unit will cause problems — we always do a proper load calculation before recommending a system.
My AC is low on refrigerant — can you just top it up?
Refrigerant doesn't "run out" — if it's low, there's a leak. We'll find and fix the leak first, then recharge the system properly. Just topping it up without fixing the leak wastes money and damages the system.
How often should I service my AC?
Once a year, ideally in spring before the cooling season starts. This keeps your system efficient and your warranty valid on newer units.
